However, when facing against any of the special mobs that are summoned the armor they drop can be socketed but it may appear to be based on the rarity. If you combined apotheosis, more enchantments, dragon enchantments, random enchantments and any other mods that add additional enchantments (This is especially on 1.16.5) with silent's gems and gear, you should be able to equipment that's at least 5x more powerful.The ingame book, Chronicle of Shadows says this: Searing Expulsion = Remove the gems and destroy them, but keep the item.
